Use of your Aspen ownership under VRI management

NEW CHECK IN PROCEDURE

The desk agents at the VRI desk are the first you will encounter as you enter the facility. The agents are doing their best to go the extra mile to ensure an efficient and informational check-in to ensure a comfortable visit during your week.
Additionally, in order to protect the ownership from theft or damage, all guests are required to present government identification and a credit card for a damage deposit. VRI’s computer system verifies and holds $100 (one hundred dollars) against your selected credit card, but nothing is charged unless loss, damage or non-assist animals are discovered in the room.
Lastly, although smoking is permitted in your units, under the new smoking ban in Colorado, it is illegal to smoke in the halls or common areas or within 15 feet of any entrance. The VRI desk will be manned by a VRI employee from 8:00 am till 8:00 pm daily and till 11:00 pm on Fridays & Saturdays. During off-hours there will either be a lockbox or some coordination with the nighttime security guard; these details still need to be worked out.

--VRI does not approach each resort in a "cookie cutter" fashion. They work with each client individually to design a resort-specific management program. Their team will work very closely with your Board of Directors, your unit agents, and your on-site management and staff to achieve an optimum level of operation, to help control costs to you and to maximize your vacation experience. The rental program at Aspen at Streamside is important to you;therefore, I'm happy to tell you that VRI believes that it can enhance the existing rental program with their national marketing efforts. VRI has proven success in the rental business. Their goal is to bring in travel-minded guests that will return to your resort, and tell their friends about it too!

--All owners wishing to rent their units through VRI should e-mail:  reservations@vriresorts.com  or contact VRI/Reservations, 23041 Avenida de la Carlotta, Ste. 400, Laguna Hills, CA 92653, 949-859-2181 or call 1-866-469-8222 and request a rental packet be mailed to them with documents to be completed and returned.

--RCI/II- The ASPEN COA has a contract with both RCI and II... they are independent of either the current manager or the new manager and no owner should be affected if they are in either trading system.  Owners should be able to trade in either system they belong to but will not access II through the Marriott Desk. Exchanges into Marriott properties will not be as easy. Marriott reserves the first 30 days after a unit has been deposited for Marriott owners only; after that, they are open to all. Banking procedures should remain the same as now.
